We are plainspoken friends and practitioners who share a passion for women’s health, especially women’s health at midlife. While good health is something that we want for all women at all times, we have personal and clinical experience that has shown us that midlife is a time period in a woman’s life when she experiences challenges.
Unfortunately there are not enough practitioners whose focus is specialized for this unique time period in a woman’s life. While women can find loads of advice for their teens, 20s, and 30s, the messaging gets murky once a woman hits 40. Translation? … Generalized health information isn’t helpful for a midlife woman. Sometimes, it can even be harmful. If you’re a midlife woman, your health doesn’t have to decline after 40 and you should know how to be in control of that.
